Claiming your body back

I’m so glad you’re here!

To claim your body back is to peel away some of the layers that cover your soft soul and truly examine what you value and who you are as an individual, and to let these leave their marks on your body in the form of a tattoo...or two…

What is a tattoo anyway if not a scar you’re proud of?

Reclaiming your body with tattoos can be such an empowering experience and I invite you to hold this idea on your tongue for a while, and when you’re ready, we can talk about what matters to you, or you can peruse some of my designs and maybe you’ll find something that resonates!

If our souls live in our bodies, then why not ruffle the pillows a bit and put up some posters?

Why shouldn’t it look like someone lives in there?

Tattoos for collective healing?

various pictures of people with tattoos in red and black ink of "sensitive" words. There is the ribbon tattooed on a girl's calf that says "soft". On someone's lower back it is tattooed "sensitive" in red ink. The words "Fragile, handle with care"

I see collective healing as the ultimate goal for us as humans, and there's no better place to kickstart this incredible journey than by healing ourselves and getting sick new tattoos!

Think about it: by the time you've reached the 'legal' age for tattoos, you've already lived through 19 years of your life. Not to mention the lives that came before you, whose impact, though seemingly microscopic, is encoded in your very DNA. And as you continue to gather experiences, some that may have been painful and others incredibly transformative, it's a lifelong adventure. We go through so much, and yet, our bodies often don't quite reflect the depth of our souls.

So, let's make a warm-hearted commitment to the rich tapestry of humanity by adding a tattoo, or even a handful of them, to the canvas of our skin. No one else may need to read it, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't write. It's a beautiful form of self-expression, a loving tribute to your unique choices, and a heartfelt declaration of self-determination that has the remarkable power to bring healing.

In this vast world, where we should all be free to express ourselves exactly as we are, this is where our collective journey of healing can take its first steps.
